On Sept. 17-18th 2019 the first Scientific European Meeting for applications of optogenetics was organized by Inscopix (USA) in College de France (Paris, France), in which a Head of the Oncology Department of the Shupyk NMAPE Prof. Myasoyedov S. D. took part. The event consisted of the newest demonstrations of the method, original reports from some European countries and a poster session.

The roots of scientific publications were laid back in 1665, when Henry Oldenburg of the British Royal Society and his colleagues founded the first periodical – «Philosophical Transactions» of the Royal Society. The «Philosophical Transactions» of the Royal Society contributed to the development of the entire scientific community, facilitating communication between researchers and overcoming their isolation.

At the Department of General and Emergency Surgery, NMAPE named after P.L. Shupyk, PhD P.I. Chervyak, was presented an encyclopedic biobibliographic reference book "Medicine of Ukraine in personalities" in three volumes.
