Since the foundation of the department there have been defended 2 doctoral and 4 candidate’s theses. The staff members published about 150 papers, 10 monographs and manuals.

The staff members take active part in the creation of the regulatory and legal framework of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical sector.

The research work of the department  focuses on studying actoprotective, antioxidant,  antihypoxic properties of the home metabolic drugs and herbal remedies.
