KRASNOV Volodymyr – PhD (Pedagogics) (2003), DMedSci (2012), assistant professor (2005), Full professor (2014), Academician of the Higher Education Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (2018).

Since January 2016 – Head of the pedagogy, psychology, medical and pharmaceutical law department.

Scientific supervisor of initiative scientific research work of the department devoted to:«Formation of key professions and general humanitarian competences of a doctor: pedagogical, psychological, legal aspects».

Worked at the Medical informatics Department in NMAPE n.a. P.L.Shupik since 2001.

In 1993 graduated from Russian State Medical University n.a. N.I.Pirohov, specialty – biophysics.

1998-2001 – postgraduate student of medical informatics department. Since 2001 worked on positions of assistant, assistant professor. Since 2012 – worked on a position of a professor of medical informatics department.

Since 2007 – Head of the problematic, scientific research laboratory on postgraduate education of doctors (pharmacists) of distance education center  part-time.

Since 2015 – the coordinator of the quality management system.

In 2003 passed PhD defense on pedagogical sciences with topic: «The efficacy of knowledge control computer systems usage in postgraduate medical education».  In 2012 – Passed Doctor defense on medical sciences with a topic: «The development of knowledge transition processes informational reflection system in postgraduate medical education». Thesis advisor - Professor O.P. Mintser.

Doctoral and candidate dissertation works are conducted under the scientific supervision of V.V. Krasnov.

Author of more than 220 publications, including 2 patents, 4 author certificates.

Since 2012 member of Specialized Scientific Council D 26.613.10 on Doctor (PhD) thesis defense of specialty 14.03.11 – medical and biological informatics and cybernetics.

2008-2011 – Deputy head of problematic committee of the MoH and NAMS of  Ukraine «Medical Cybernetics and Informational technologies», since 2012 – Scientific secretary of problematic committee MoH and NAMS of Ukraine «Medical informatics and informational technologies».

Since 2008 – member of the editorial collegium of the professional scientific magazine «Medical informatics and engineering».

V.V. Krasnov actively participates in national and international projects and scientific research works:

2002-2003 – Project LARGIS in WHO program «Management in Health care»;

2004-2005 – Project «Social-psychological training of physicians working with HIV infected / aids patients» (responsible executor);

2005- 2006 – EU project «Support of the medical standards development in Ukraine»;

2006-2008 – Scientific work «Development of  normative base for doctors’ continuous professional development system to ensure the high quality of medical care provided to the population of Ukraine» (responsible executor);

2007 - 2008 – Project «Together toward Health» (USAID, USA) and Harvard School of Public Health (USA) on teaching the practical cases;

2007-2009 – USAID, JSI and project on enhancing family and reproductive health in Ukraine «Together toward Health»;

2008-2010 – State project «Ukraine citizen electronic medical passport»;

2008-2009 – EPOS / NICO / EORYS, Support to the Secondary Health Care Reform, Ukraine, Project Number: EuropeAid/ 123236/SER/UA. Category (position): Short Term Junior Experts (STE Training (Junior));

2006-2015 – e-learning project in Ukrainian-Swiss program «Perinatal Health» of Swiss Institute of Healthcare and tropical medicine (consultant, responsible executor).

Scientific interests: application of informational technologies in medicine and education, knowledge transition and control principles, didactics, pedagogical psychology, distance education, ontology of knowledge.

Achievements: Gratitude of the Security Service of Ukraine (2003), Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine diplomas (2011), Ministry of Education and Science diplomas (2018).
