The rethinking of approaches in modern medical postgraduate education implies practical implementation of the latest ideas. Among them there is a wide introduction at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care OSCE – an objective structured clinical examination.

On February 11, 2019, the improvement thematic cycle "Modern non-invasive techniques in phlebology" (2-week study program) was launched, at the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (the Chief of Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery - S. Savoliuk (MD, Dr.Sc., Full Professor).

Laparoscopic surgery at the present stage of development of clinical surgery plays a crucial role as a gold surgical standard in urgent and planned abdominal surgery.
