In a short period of time from its creation and at the present time (2005-2019 years) at the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education  47 foreign citizens whose geography was not restricted to the CIS countries was trained (34) (Georgia - 19, Uzbekistan - 4, Azerbaijan - 7, Moldova - 1, Turkmenistan - 3), among them were representatives of foreign countries 13, namely: Ecuador - 1, Tunisia - 1, Libya - 1, Nigeria - 1,Somalia - 1, Afghanistan - 2, Iran-2, Syria-2, Palestine-1, Bahrain - 1.

High indexes of scientific work and innovative activity of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery (the Chief of Department - S. Savoliuk (MD, Dr.Sc., Full Professor)) of the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, which provides stable high performance of the department in the internal academic rating, are achieved not only by the collective work of the employees.

   On April 25-26, 2019, a scientific-practical conference with international participation "Actual problems of diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases and autoimmune conditions in children" was held, conducted by the Department of Pediatrics №1 with the direct participation of the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education and with the support of the National Children's Specialized Hospital " OKHMATDIT ", dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the foundation of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "OKHMATDIT", and the 90th anniversary of continuous cooperation with the hospital of the Department of Pediatrics №1 of the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

Within the framework of the cooperation of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education and Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital, a master class and a briefing conference with the participation of foreign colleagues from basic resuscitation in a clinical hospital was organized.
