On June 5–7, 2025, the 29th European Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (EBCOG) took place in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The delegation of Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, led by Rector Academician V. Kaminsky, actively participated in the event and received a warm welcome from the international professional community. The Ukrainian session of the Congress attracted great interest and was highly praised for its scientific quality.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 presented three scientific reports that sparked lively discussions among delegates and moderators. Among them were a report on specific approaches to performing cesarean sections in cases of morbid obesity, and a presentation on the management of pregnancies complicated by placenta previa/percreta (types 3b and 3c), focusing on a set of measures aimed at reducing blood loss and other complications.
Despite the difficult wartime conditions, the department continues its scientific and clinical research, strives to implement innovations in obstetric and gynecological care, and remains committed to the education of interns, postgraduate students, and young specialists. This is our contribution to the future of Ukraine.
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
