The National Cancer Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine is the leading institution of Ukraine on the problem of "Oncology". It is enriched with the latest equipment that meets the world standard of diagnostic and treatment for patients with cancer. The bed fund includes: oncology for adults - 499, oncology for children - 45, radiology - 56; consultative polyclinic for 400 regular visits. The staff of the Institute consists of 1289 employees, including 119 scientists and 167 physicians. Every year it provides medical care to more than 16 thousand people from all regions of Ukraine, in the Department of Pediatric Oncology - more than 950 children. |

KNP "Kyiv City Clinical Oncology Center" is a specialized institution for providing of highly qualified oncology care to cancer patients in Kyiv. This is an institution with a full closed cycle of the cancer care. It has 600 beds in 13 clinical departments, a consultative polyclinic for 350 regular visits, and 5 laboratories. The Center uses high-tech equipment that provides modern medical and diagnostic care. The Center of Nuclear Medicine constitutes a first domestic pool of PET-CT with options of diagnosis, research and follow-upt. Every year, the Center treats more than 20,000 patients, performs about 6,000 surgeries, more than 3,000 patients receive chemotherapy and 3,000 receive radiation therapy. |
