MYKHALCHUK Vasyl Mikolaevich - Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Healthcare Management, Honored Worker of Health Care of Ukraine.

Graduated from Ternopil State Medical Institute, Faculty of Medicine in 1980 and received the qualification "Doctor" and International Academy of Personnel Management, Kyiv, Faculty of Law in 2008, specialty "Lawyer".

Since 1984 he has been working on the management posts: the chief doctor of the regional blood transfusion station; head of units of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine; First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on the Response to HIV / AIDS and other Socially Dangerous Diseases; Professor of the Department of Healthcare, from 03/23/2016 - the head of this department.

Teaches labor law; system of work with personnel and personnel management; the basis of health legislation.

With the direct participation of Mykhalchuk V.М. A number of program documents have been prepared.

Works on the development of new regulatory documents and programs. He is engaged in scientific work, co-author of more than 120 scientific works, including 2 monographs, 5 books, 4 patents.

Investigates legal and regulatory aspects of the management of the quality of medical care, also the basis of management in the field of health care.

 

Yuriy V. Voronenko, MD, Dr. Sc., Full Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Acting Member of the Academy of Sciences for Higher Education of Ukraine, the European Academy of Natural Sciences, the Academy of Medical Sciences of Poland and the Albert Schweitzer World Academy of Medicine, Honorary Science and Technology Worker of Ukraine, Winner of the State Prize in Science and Technology of Ukraine.

In 1973 he graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute (O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University). Started his professional life as a postgraduate student and a lecturer, continued it as an Associate Professor, and went on to hold the position of Full Professor and the Head of the Department of Social Medicine. In 1991 he defended doctoral thesis “Social and Hygienic Fundamentals of Prevention and Treatment of Burns”.

1995-2002 – Head of the Chief Management Department of Education, Science and Informational and Analytical Provision of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Assisted the design of the public health development projects, decrees of the President of Ukraine, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Participated in a great many international forums under the aegis of the WHO, programs on international cooperation, international scientific conferences.

Author and co-author of more than 400 scientific publications: 11 text-books, 25 scientific and methodological manuals, 38 monographs. Supervisor of theses (12 doctoral and 8 PhD).

Lines of investigation: theory and practice of social hygiene, management of public health, medical education, medical standards and law.

The director of the research project “The Development of Strategic Models in the Improvement of Medical Care and Public Health” (RgdNo. 01094008304).

Awards: I-III Class Orders "For Prominent Services", Lomonosov Order (Russian Federation), Diplomas of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kyiv Regional State Administration, Kyiv City State Administration, medals.

 

Victoriia V. Gorachuk, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department.

Graduated from Odessa Medical Institute named after M. I. Pyrogov, Pediatric Faculty in 1982. She has been working in Public Management since 1994. Deputy Head Physician for clinical work in the Central District  Hospital of  Odessa Region (1994-2001); Head of the Unit, Chief Specialist in organization of medical care for mothers and children in Dniprovsk District State Management of Kyiv (2001-2008); Senior Lecturer of  the Department of Public Health  Management in Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (since April, 2008); Associate Professor of  the Department of Public Health  Management in NMAPE (since April, 2011).

Defended PhD thesis entitled “Scientific Substantiation of the Professional Rehabilitation System for Pediatricians in Polyclinic Institutions” in 2009.

Area of expertize: social medicine as a basis for health care management; public health laws in Ukraine; statistics in health care; information technology support for management and health care quality management.

Author of “Health Care Quality Management in a Health Institution” monograph (2012), co-author of 2 methodological recommendations, 39 scientific works (including 15 without co-authors), a participant of 13 scientific forums.

She is currently working on her doctoral thesis on “Medical and Social Substantiation of the Model of Health Care Quality Management System."

 

Valeriy I. Bugro, MD, PhD (since 1995), Associate Professor (since 2002), Honored Worker of Health Care of Ukraine (since 2010).

Graduated from O. O. Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute, Medical Faculty (1981). Took clinical residency at the Department of Social Hygiene and Public Health Organization of O. O. Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute (1986-1988) and postgraduate course at the Department of Public Health Management of Kyiv State Institute for Physicians Advanced Training (1988-1991). After the postgraduate course he was Assistant Professor (1991-1997), Senior Lecturer (1997-2000), and since 2000 he has been Associate Professor of the Department of Public Health Management.

In 1995 he defended PhD thesis entitled “Scientific Substantiation of Ways for Developing Day Patient Departments at the City Policlinics and their Management”; a scholar of Full Professor B. P. Kryshtopa.

Author of 47 scientific works. Area of expertize: organization and management of health care system.

Participated in preparing the syllabus and conducting “Scientific Fundamentals of Public Health  Management” thematic advanced training for rectors and vice-rectors for scientific work in medical higher educational institutions of Ukraine, directors and deputy directors of research institutions, heads of Health Care Regional State Managements, The Red Cross Society leaders,  heads of Medical and Prophylactic, Pharmaceutical Faculty and their reserve.

Participated in Health Care Management scientific conference in Philadelphia (USA, 2001). Underwent training courses for instructional teachers on health care finance and management (January – June, 2005; NMAPE). Training in EPOS Health Consultants international project “Support to Secondary Healthcare Reform in Ukraine” (from January of 2008 to December of 2009; NMAPE) and USAID project “To Health Together” by Harvard School of Public Health, Essentials of Teaching with Case Studies (September, 2008; NMAPE).

Participated in developing the syllabus for masters course for medical institutions administrators specialized in Public Health Management and educational standard of postgraduate course in this specialty jointly with the international project “Support to Secondary Healthcare Reform in Ukraine” as part of working group.

Author of the second module of educational methodological guideline on a postgraduate training program for medical institutions administrators specialized in Public Health Management within EU Project “Support to Secondary Healthcare Reform in Ukraine”.

He is currently working on his doctoral thesis “Medical and Social Substantiation for In-Patient Care Management Optimization” on specialty 14.02.03 – Social Medicine. The theme of dissertation was approved by the Academic Board of NMAPE on January 23, 2013.

Organizational and Public Work: Deputy Dean and a member of the Academic Board of Medical and Prophylactic, Pharmaceutical Faculty (since 1999); Head of the Department of Public Health Management (since 2002); Scientific Secretary of the Board D 26.613.07 at NMAPE (since2003).

Clinical work: physician of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Unit in Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 4 since 1981 (working concurrently since 1991).

Awards: the Diploma of the President of Ukraine (2003), the Gratitude of Kyiv City Mayer (2003), the Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (2008), the Honorary Diploma of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine (2008).

Nina G. Goida, Full Professor of the Department of Public Health Management of the Academy (2004), MD, Dr. Sc., Full Professor, Full Member of the Academy of Higher Education of Ukraine, Winner of the Science and Technology State Prize of Ukraine.

In 1973 she graduated from Chernivtsi State Medical Institute (now Bukovina Medical University). After graduating she worked her way up from resident obstetrician to the organizer of obstetric services at the district and region. 1987-1992 – Head of the Department of Public Health of Khmelnytskyi Regional Executive Committee.

1992-2003 – worked at the Ministry of Health, gradually occupying such positions as: Head of the Chief Administration of Medical Care for Children and Mothers, and the Chief Administration of Medical Care for the Population, the Deputy and First Deputy of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Since 2003 she has been Vice-Rector for Clinical Work of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. In 2000 she defended her Doctoral  thesis.

Participated in the elaboration of the medical standards and legal foundations for developing the Public Health System of Ukraine; participated in a great many international forums. Studied the health care systems and the models of their financing in a number of countries in Europe and North America.

Author of over 300 scientific works, including manuals and monographs. The supervisor of 2 MD, Drs. Sc. and 7 MD, PhDs. Member of the Expert Council of SAC of Ukraine, Member of the Committee on State Prizes in Science and Technology Section, which deals with papers of young scientists.

The expert in a number of international public health projects combined with such countries as Switzerland, Canada, Germany, United States, and international organizations: WHO, UNICEF, UNDP and others.

Area of expertize: theory and practice of social hygiene, public health management, organization of medical care for children and mothers, and the development of family medicine.

N.G. Goyda has a number of awards and awards: Order of Princess Olga II degree (2018) and III degree (2009); Cross Panteleimon Healer; Certificate of honor of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (2002); Order of St. Anne of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (2002); Medal named after academician Strazhesko M.D. Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (2001); Honorary Award of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine (2008); Honorary title "Honored Doctor of Ukraine" (1992).

 

KOSHOVA Svitlana Petrivna is a senior lecturer. She is in charge of teaching and methodological work (supervisor) of the Department of Healthcare Management.

Graduated from Nizhyn Mykola Gogol State University faculty of Psychology and Social Work and the faculty of Foreign Languages.

Worked as a teacher of the Department of General and Medical Psychology and Pedagogy at Bogomolets National Medical University.

Since 2016 she has been working as a senior lecturer at the Department of Healthcare Management of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

Teaches on the directions related to the psychological foundations of personnel management, the emergence and overcoming of conflicts in the team.

Author of more than 30 scientific works

Scientific interests are devoted to socio-psychological peculiarities of self-realization of personality in the field of management.
