On December 2, 2020, the Department of Oncology successfully completed the training on the cycle of specialization in "Oncosurgery", which lasted 3 months. The cycle trained 26 trainee doctors, 2/3 of whom lived and worked in the "red" epidemic zone. This year, at the end of November , an international congress of modern technologies in treatment and diagnosis patients with diabetes (Diabetes Technology Congress) was held in virtual format. Using new technologies, such as continuous glucose monitoring, pump insulin therapy and other methods, open up new possibilities for achieving and maintaining disease compensation in patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes.

Damage to the nervous system, diabetic neuropathy, is the most common complication of diabetes mellitus, occurring in more than half of patients suffering from this disease. However, many issues of diagnosis and treatment of this complication of diabetes are highly controversial. At the end of November, a 2-day virtual workshop was held with the participation of 10 leading international experts in the field of diabetic neuropathy, such as Professors Andrew Bolton (UK), Dan Ziegler (Germany), Roy Freeman (United States of America) and others.
