On September 23–24, 2025, the Third International Health Summit was held at the Shupyk National University of Healthcare of Ukraine, which brought together leading experts from Ukraine and the world to discuss the current challenges of medicine in the war and post-war periods. The staff of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology actively participated in the work of the summit: Professors Golyanovskyi O.V. and Voloshyn O.A., Associate Professor, Head of the Department Morozova O.V., Assistant Professor Kononets O.P., as well as postgraduate student of the Department Frolov S.V.

In the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of the Vyshgorod Central Regional Hospital as one of the clinical bases of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, another surgical intervention to correct complete genital prolapse was successfully performed with the participation of Professor of the Department Golyanovsky O.V., Head of the Department Gubar I.A. and PhD Student Frolov S.V.

On September 20, the World Gynecological Cancer Awareness Day is marked globally. It was established in 2019 on the initiative of the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO). The relevance of the issue is highlighted by the fact that more than 1 million women worldwide are diagnosed annually with cervical, ovarian, endometrial, vulvar cancers, etc. This has required the medical community and society to take all possible steps to raise awareness among women regarding prevention, risk factors, early detection, recognition of disease symptoms, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to preserve their health.

Pelvic presentation of the fetus occurs in 5-7% of full-term pregnancies and carries 3-4 times more complications than cephalic presentation. In most cases, it is an indication for cesarean section, especially when the fetal weight exceeds 3700 g. However, modern international clinical guidelines (WHO, FIGO) recommend considering the possibility of performing external obstetrical cephalic rotation, which reduces the risk of complications and increases the chances of natural childbirth.
