On December 12, 2025, the head of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Anton Volosovets distinguished himself by actively participating in the academic activities of his university colleagues, acting as an opponent at a meeting of the one-time specialized academic council of the Bogomolets National Medical University.

The council meeting was convened with the right to accept for consideration and conduct a one-time defense of the dissertation of candidate Okuneva Stella-Maria Sergiivna for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge "Health Care" in the specialty 222 "Medicine" on the topic "Clinical and epidemiological study of the characteristics of cerebral strokes in the population of a metropolis during martial law" (supervisor - head of the Department of Neurology of the NMU, Professor Prokopiv Maria Myroslavivna). During the meeting, Professor Volosovets conducted a thorough analysis of the presented scientific work and provided an objective, well-reasoned expert opinion at a high scientific level. 

The participation of leading scientists in the work of specialized academic councils contributes to ensuring high standards of scientific evaluation and the development of Ukrainian medical science. The recommendations and conclusions presented by Professor Volosovets became an important part of the expert evaluation of the dissertation research.
