The European Committee on Anesthesiology and Intensive Care annually holds events on postgraduate specialized education for doctors, where the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine  takes an active part.

The aim of the course of lectures of the Committee for European Education in Anesthesiology (CEEA) is to maintain and improve the standards of anesthetic care by participating in continuous postgraduate education of anesthesiologists. The full course program is based on six cycles, which include the curriculum in all sections of the specialty. Cycles are held at least once a year. At the end of the cycle and passing the exam, participants of the course of lectures receive a certificate of the established sample. A participant who has completed six cycles receives a CEEA Final Certificate. The cycle program is coordinated with the European Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC) and the World Federation of Societies of Anesthesiologists (WFSA).

On January 24, 2022, an online series of lectures of this course was held in Uzbekistan, to which Professor Oleg Loskutov, head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, was invited from Ukraine.

Professor O. Loskutov introduced the students not only to the main postulates of inhalation anesthesia but also presented innovative methods developed by the department and published in leading European magazines.

The number of registered course participants exceeded 400 people. The audience highly appreciated the material presented by Professor O. Loskutov, as evidenced by the numerous words of gratitude that the participants left in the chat.

Such events allow not only sharing the experience of clinical and scientific work but also helping to develop interaction with colleagues from neighboring countries, which, according to the general opinion of the participants of this conference, should become the basis for further development.
