At the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1, the work of the department's academic supervisors continues in the preparation of the department's PhD students and the completion of their planned thesis works, which are currently at various stages of completion depending on the year of study.

Scientific supervisors help PhD students to conduct clinical retrospective and prospective studies, prepare scientific articles for publication in journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science at the current level, participate in national and foreign scientific and practical conferences, congresses with reports on the results of conducted research.

PhD students of the department take an active part in the treatment and diagnostic process at the department's clinical bases: Kyiv Regional Perinatal Center, Vyshgorod Central Hospital, Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital, Boyar Central Hospital.

On March 19, 2024, a meeting was held at the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine dedicated to international work and a meeting with Oleg Shevchenko, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Cooperation, attended by PhD students of our department. The issues discussed at the meeting aroused the interest of postgraduate students of the department regarding their possible internship in advanced foreign clinics with the development of innovative methods of diagnosis and treatment in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as proposals for participation in international medical grant projects.
