28 November 2019 the "Studying for the Pearson Test of English General" course got off to a good start at the Department of Foreign Languages. 5 November 2019, in partnership with Dinternal Education International Training Centre we conducted a Placement Essential Test for 18 applicants. Among those there were selected 9 people to be enrolled. The online test made it possible to assess the learners' linguistic competence on the Global Scale of English, as it included various revision tests (reading comprehension, writing skills, listening comprehension).

The Department of Foreign Languages launches an admission campaign for the "Lecturers’ Advanced Training" course. The lessons are taught by Assistant Professors L. Savchuk and L. Saienko, experienced hands at training medical terminology.

Lyudmyla Savchuk has been assessed throughout the course by an external assessor, appointed by Cambridge ESOL. To be awarded the Certificate, she passed both components successfully.

In order to streamline the teaching and learning strategies at NMAPE and in line with Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "On Education" (adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on 5 September 2017), declaring that "Educational institutions, including vocational, professional pre-university and higher education, provide the compulsory learning of the national language to the extent that offers a means for conducting professional activities in the chosen field using the national language", the Department of Foreign Languages has rolled out the "Ukrainian For Business Communication" course for NMAPE's academic staff.
