Professor Anton O. Volosovets, Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, participated in the VI Annual Scientific and Practical Conference “May Rheumatology Days 2026,” which was held in a hybrid format in Kyiv, Ukraine.
As part of the scientific program, Professor Volosovets delivered a presentation about current recommendations for the management of neuropathic pain syndrome. The report highlighted up-to-date international and national approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of neuropathic pain, with a particular focus on modern pharmacological management algorithms based on evidence-based medicine and current clinical guidelines for 2025–2026.
The “May Rheumatology Days” conference is traditionally a multidisciplinary platform bringing together specialists in rheumatology, neurology, internal medicine, gynecology, and related fields. The event focused on contemporary approaches to the management of chronic pain syndromes, systemic connective tissue diseases, and comorbid conditions.
Participation of professor Volosovets in such scientific forums contributes to the integration of modern international standards into clinical practice, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, and enhances the quality of medical care for patients with complex pain syndromes.
