In order to streamline the teaching and learning strategies at NMAPE and in line with Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "On Education" (adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on 5 September 2017), declaring that "Educational institutions, including vocational, professional pre-university and higher education, provide the compulsory learning of the national language to the extent that offers a means for conducting professional activities in the chosen field using the national language", the Department of Foreign Languages has developed study guides on the "Ukrainian For Business Communication" course for Health Management Master’s Degree holders.

According to the of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, diabetes was the seventh leading cause of death in the world in 2016. The prevalence of diabetes in Ukraine has increased by half in the last 10 years. Almost 3% of the primary disability of the adult population in Ukraine is due to diabetes.

The "Studying for the Pearson Test of English General" course runs at the Department of Foreign Languages.

On 13 - 14 January 2020, the review international meeting of experts in the field of mental health education within the framework of the UNA partnership project (Partnership Ukraine-Norway-Armenia) was held at the Taras Shevchenko National University (KNU) in Kyiv.
