General information

Center of Medical Simulation and Training (CEMSIT) of Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine was established in 2016 by order of the Rector № 1032 in order to implement simulation teaching methods in the educational process in accordance with modern world practices in continuing medical education to ensure maximum safety of patients and doctors in training, practice and implementation of invasive medical and diagnostic procedures.

The main purpose of CEMSIT is to improve the quality of postgraduate training and continuing professional development of doctors and junior specialists with medical education, health care workers, paramedics and social services, to practice their practical skills in providing medical care to the population and ensure maximum safety of patients and medical staff. based on the use of simulation teaching methods and the introduction of innovative educational technologies.

From 2016 to the present, repair works have been completed in CEMSIT premises, simulation equipment has been purchased and a training and methodological base has been developed to ensure the educational process.

Since 2018, 3885 interns and students have visited CEMSIT, 5 master classes and trainings for teachers on the features of simulation teaching methods have been held.

Teaching staff

Andriy V. TKACHENKO

Acting Director of CEMSIT, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Obstetrician-Gynecologist of the highest qualification category.

He graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University (1994).

Internship in obstetrics and gynecology was held on the basis of the NMAPE named after P. Shupyk.

In 2002 he defended his dissertation and received the title of Candidate of Medical Sciences, after which he was appointed assistant, and since 2005 - associate professor of obstetrics, gynecology and perinatology of NMAPE named after P. Shupyk.

In 2006 he received the academic title of "Associate Professor" of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology of the NMAPE named after P. Shupyk.

Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology №1 UDIR NMAPE named after P. Shupyk from 2009 to the present.

He was one of the initiators of the Laboratory of Modern Information Technologies in Medicine (2002) and the website of the NMAPE named after P. Shupyk.

In 2006 he was a co-founder and Secretary of the Ukrainian Society of Perinatal Medicine.

In 2007 he was a co-founder of the Ukrainian Society of Gynecologists, Endoscopists and Pelvic Surgeons.

Since 2006 he has been the co-chair of the Ukrainian branch of the Ian Donald Inter-University School of Medical Ultrasound, Ukrainian Branch.

From 2008 to 2015, an expert of the Ukrainian-Swiss Program "Maternal and Child Health", one of the initiators of the introduction of simulation methods in medicine and the creation of medical simulation centers for obstetrics and neonatology in Ukraine, co-author of "Creating a simulation center: principles and guidelines ”.

From 2012 to 2014, he was a co-organizer and manager in Ukraine of the Bilateral Project in Obstetrics, Neonatology and Perinatal Medicine, launched between the Ministries of Health of Ukraine and Germany.

Since 2008 he has been the representative of Ukraine in the European Presidium and the College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (EBCOG Council member, National representative from Ukraine).

Since 2011 he has been the head of the international cooperation committee of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Ukraine, a member of the Presidium of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Ukraine.

Since 2017 - Member of the Board of the European Presidium and the College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (EBCOG Executive member).

In 2021 he defended his doctoral dissertation and received the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences.

Author of more than 60 publications, co-author of 7 monographs, textbooks and manuals (including international), 15 patents for inventions, 11 industry innovations. 

Vladyslav V. OREL

Associate Professor CEMSIT, Candidate of Medical Sciences, anesthesiologist of the highest qualification category, pediatric anesthesiologist of the highest qualification category.

He graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University with honors (1996) with a degree in "medical business".

He studied for a master's degree (1996-1999) and in full-time graduate school (1999-2002) at the Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care and Disaster Medicine of the Bogomolets National Medical University.

In 2004 he defended his dissertation.

He worked as an assistant (2003-2008), as an associate professor (2008-2010) and associate professor (2010-2019) of the Department of Emergency Medicine of NMAPE named after P. Shupyk.

In 2010 he received the academic title of "Associate Professor" of the Department of Emergency Medicine NMAPE named after P. Shupyk.

Works as an associate professor of CEMSIT Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine from 2019 to the present.

Author of 99 publications. 

Svetlana S. DZYUNYAK

Specialist of the 1st category of CEMSIT.

Bachelor in Psychology.

Participant and co-organizer of master classes and trainings of CEMSIT.

 

Vladislav V. SHISHATSKIY

Engineer of the 2nd category of CEMSIT.

He graduated from the National Aviation University (2020) with a degree in biomedical engineering and received a bachelor's degree.

From 2020 to the present, he is studying for a master's degree at the National Aviation University, majoring in "pedagogical innovative technologies in higher technical institutions."

He has been working at the CEMSIT Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine from 2019 to the present (part-time): first as a specialist (2019-2021), and from 2021 to the present as a category 2 engineer.
