The Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of NMAPE named after P. L. Shupyk informs that the site of the Young Anesthesiologists Conference (MAK) "Trishinskiy Readings" was opened. The conference is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the NMAPE named after P. L. Shupyk this year.

In October 17-21, 2016 the WHO Regional Office for Europe and Ministry of Health of Ukraine held a training session involving staff members of the Institute of Family Medicine of NMAPE. It was aimed at improving prevention of noninfectious diseases, reducing morbidity of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus in Ukraine.
