The International Workshop "Meeting with Experts: Practical Obstetrics" was held in Kyiv on January 25, 2019. The key points of the event were the actual issues of modern obstetrics: induction and labor, features of induction and stimulation of labor activity on the basis of evidence-based approaches of the French College of Obstetrics and Gynecology; the role of the midwife in the maternity ward in Europe; features of a cesarean section; prevention and treatment of postpartum uterine haemorrhage.

On January 31st, 2019 at the Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Medical Psychology Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education took place an examination and certification of residents for determination the level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills by the State Appraisal Commission under the chairmanship of the Head of the Department, Professor Pilyagina G.Ya, M.D., Ph.D. The title of doctor of a psychiatrist was given to 28 interns, who fully completed the curriculum and internship program in the field of Psychiatry in 2016-2018.
