On February 5–7, 2026, the head of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, Professor Anton Volosovets, participated as a moderator and speaker in the professional scientific and educational event "Winter School on Neurocardiology: NEPIKA 2026."
The event brought together leading experts in the fields of cardiology, neurology, anesthesiology, and emergency medicine to discuss current issues of interdisciplinary interaction in acute and critical conditions involving damage to the cardiovascular and nervous systems. The School's program covered modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of neurocardiological syndromes, risk stratification, management of patients with acute coronary syndrome against the background of cerebrovascular pathology, cardiac arrhythmias in acute central nervous system lesions, as well as issues of intensive care and monitoring.
During the event, Volosovets A.O. presented an expert opinion on the provision of medical care in emergency situations, focusing on algorithms for clinical decision-making under time constraints, principles of interdisciplinary communication, and standardization of protocols in accordance with current international recommendations.
The participation of the University representative in the "Winter School of Neurocardiology: NEPIKA 2026" contributes to strengthening professional ties, integrating modern evidence-based approaches into the educational process, and improving the quality of training for interns and students of thematic improvement courses.
The Department of Emergency Medicine will continue to actively participate in leading scientific and practical platforms aimed at developing interdisciplinary cooperation and introducing innovative approaches into the Ukrainian healthcare system.
