At the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, practical training for second-year anesthesiology interns took place at the Andrii Tkachenko Educational and Production Center for Simulation-Based Learning.
Faculty members of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care with a course in Pediatric Anesthesiology shared their hands-on clinical experience. This session focused on advanced procedures: lumbar puncture and neuraxial anesthesia.
Practicing on simulators allows young specialists to refine their technique to a high level of proficiency before entering a real operating room. However, this time we trained not only precision, but also resilience.
Due to the aftermath of another series of missile attacks, the session was conducted without electricity. Yet for future anesthesiologists, darkness is not an obstacle — it is an additional element of preparation for today’s realities.
We thank our interns for their dedication to learning and our faculty for their unwavering commitment. The light within us is stronger than any external darkness.
We are preparing the best specialists for the most challenging times.
