Babintseva Larysa Yuriivna – Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences (2004), Associate Professor (2006). 

Has been working at the department since 2001.

She is responsible for the research and international activities at the department.

In 1993 she graduated from Kyiv State Economic University (KSEU) in speciality Economics and Sociology of Work. In 1993-1997 was studying at the postgraduate course of the same university.

The author of about 100 publications, including 5 textbooks and 5 patents. Co-author of the Unified programme of postgraduate education of doctors and pharmacists "Principles of Medical Informatics and Cybernetics in Health Care and Medicine" (2006), "Medical Informatics, Cybernetics, Pedagogy and Psychology in Health Care and medicine" (2012).

Member of the working group of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on the establishment of educational standard of postgraduate training in the specialty "Health Care Management". As a part of the association agreement with the International Solomon University participated in the preparation of the programmes and curricula for bachelor and master’s degree in the following specialities: "Medical Law"; "Biology", specialization "Medical Biology"; "Health Economics".

In 2004-2012 was a Scientific Secretary of the Problem Commission of the Ministry of Health and the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine "Medical Cybernetics and Information Technologies", since 2012 has been a member of the Problem Commission of the Ministry of Health and National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine "Medical Informatics and Information Technologies".

Since 2008 has been a scientific secretary of Approbation Board of the Specialized Academic Board D 26.613.10 on the defense of the dissertations for the degree of Doctor (Candidate) of Sciences, speciality 14.03.11 - "Medical and Biological Informatics and Cybernetics" (medical and biological sciences) at NMAPE.

Since 2008 has been a member of the editorial board, and since 2012 - deputy editor-in-chief of the scientific and practical journal "Medical Informatics and Engineering", which is a professional edition of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine.

Participation in the international projects: "Management and Financing of Health Care in Ukraine", the Swiss-Ukrainian programme "Improving Perinatal Services in Ukraine", "Supporting the Development of the Systems of Medical Standards in Ukraine", "Support of the Reform of the Secondary Health Care in Ukraine".

Her research interests include medical informatics; evidence-based medicine; distant education; management and financing of health care; information technologies in pharmacy.

The awards: Commemorative medal "10 years of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine" (2003), gratitude from the EU project "Financing and Management in Health Care in Ukraine" (2005), gratitude from the rector (2006, 2011), Diploma of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (2011).
