The research work of the department (2011-2013) is entitled “Substantiation and creation of the concept and system of vocational postgraduate training of palliative and hospice doctors, nurses and social workers in Ukraine”.
The Department of Palliative and Hospice Medicine is the co-executor of the research works, which are carried out by the State Training Scientific Methodological Centre of Palliative and Hospice Medicine according to the planned research work of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (2012-2014):
1.“Studying the existing state and developing the organizational model of the out-patient treatment of rural and urban palliative patients”.
2.“Clinical and pharmacological research of using adjuvant medicinal preparations in palliative and hospice medicine”.
