The staff of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (Chief of Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery - S. Savoliuk (MD, Dr.Sc., Full Professor)) received a letter of thanks from the administration of the National Danube Regional Hospital of the Odessa Regional Council.

In July 2019, V. Gorbovets (MD, PhD) conducted a 3-day, practically oriented master class, during which 40 patients were consulted for varicose veins of the lower extremities and there were performed 15 minimally invasive surgical interventions using the author's method (method of endovenous biowelding) together with the staff of the Emergency and Minimally Invasive Surgery Department of the Danube Regional Hospital, in Izmail.

The master class which was performed, lively discussion and discussion during it, contribute to the popularization of the scientific and practical achievements of the staff of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery and Shupyk NMAPE, because they cause interest and motivation to study at Shupyk NMAPE.

This format of cooperation of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery with medical institutions of our country is interesting, useful and promising from the point of view of further cooperation, including for the implementation of the curriculum for the preparation of students on the programmatic cycles of thematic improvement at the department, especially in the new conditions of continuous educational development.
