The training of clinical psychologists continues as part of the “Psychologist. Doctor. Patient.” project, supported by the international organization IsraAID. This initiative aims to provide additional education to specialists before their employment in healthcare facilities across Ukraine.
As part of the educational component, a series of professional webinars is being held, focusing on the key aspects of clinical psychologists’ work. Recently, Professor Anton Volosovets, Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine, delivered a comprehensive and practical lecture on “Psychosomatics in the Practice of a Clinical Psychologist.” The session covered the fundamental mechanisms of interaction between the central nervous system and other organs and systems, both in the context of emotional regulation and dysregulation.
Upon completion of the current stage of training, participants will proceed to the practical phase — providing direct psychological assistance in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and specialized medical centers across the Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Poltava regions.
We sincerely thank all the outstanding professionals who kindly responded to the invitation to join the training initiative, sharing their expertise, real-life cases, and valuable advice — their contribution is instrumental in preparing a new generation of clinical psychologists for work in the national healthcare system.
