On March 1, 2019 in Vinnitsa, on the basis of Pirogov Vinnitsa National Medical University held the III scientific and practical conference with international participation "Modern achievements of endoscopic surgery", one of the co-organizers of which was the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (the Chief of Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery - S. Savoliuk (MD, Dr.Sc., Full Professor).

The conference brought together more than 150 representatives of the surgical community of Ukraine to discuss the actual issues of modern non-invasive surgery.

Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education was represented at this event by the Chief of Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery - S. Savoliuk (MD, Dr.Sc., Full Professor), who is one of the co-founders of the Podillya Association of Minimally Invasive Surgeons, under whose patronage this scientific forum was held.

Within the framework of the scientific program of the plenary session "Modern Surgery Technologies", the moderation of which was entrusted to S. Savoliuk, Head of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of the NMAPE presented the cathedral report: Optimization of laparoscopic TAPP-hernioplasty, which summarized the experience of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery NMAPE in advanced approaches to surgical minimally invasive treatment of inguinal hernias and the principles of optimal perioperative support of patients during implementation of enhanced recovery after surgery protocol.

The report and multimedia support caused a lively discussion among the audience and other speakers. Many participants of the conference expressed their desire to study on programmatic cycles of thematic improvement at the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

The result of the discussion was a decision about further scientific cooperation and exchange of experience between the long-time partners - Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of NMAPE and Department of Endoscopic and Cardiovascular Surgery of the MNMU.
