On March 26–27, 2026, Anton Volosovets, Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, and Professor Ivan Zozulia participated in a scientific and practical conference (held online) titled “Neurology of the 21st Century: Modern Challenges and Effective Solutions,” organized by the State Institution “Institute of Neurology, Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.”
The event brought together leading specialists in the fields of neurology, psychiatry, narcology, and related disciplines to discuss modern approaches to the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with nervous system diseases and mental disorders. Particular attention was paid to interdisciplinary collaboration, the implementation of evidence-based medicine, and improving the quality of medical care in the face of modern challenges.
As part of the event, Professor Anton Volosovets delivered a presentation on current issues in psychoneurological care for patients with sleep disorders caused by chronic stress. Professor Ivan Zozulia joined the academic discussion on modern treatment strategies and clinical protocols in neurology.
The participation of department representatives in such events contributes to the integration of modern scientific achievements into the educational process and clinical practice, as well as to strengthening cooperation among leading scientific institutions in Ukraine.
The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine continues to actively participate in scientific and educational initiatives aimed at developing the healthcare system and improving the professional competence of physicians.
