On March 14, 2026, Professor Anton Volosovets, Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, participated in a meeting of the Lviv Society of Neurologists.

During the scientific event, Professor Volosovets presented a series of reports on current issues in modern clinical practice, particularly the treatment of anxiety disorders and the management of pain syndromes. The presentations emphasized an interdisciplinary approach to patients, the role of the emergency physician in the early detection of psychoemotional disorders, as well as modern evidence-based strategies for pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy.

Special attention was given to the issue of comorbidity between anxiety disorders and chronic pain, which is of significant importance for improving treatment outcomes and enhancing patients’ quality of life. The clinical cases and patient management algorithms presented sparked keen interest among the event participants and served as the basis for professional discussion.

The participation of representatives from the Department of Emergency Medicine in such professional platforms contributes to the integration of modern scientific knowledge into clinical practice and the strengthening of interregional cooperation among medical communities in Ukraine.
