Olha Kramareva, Candidate of Medical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, took part in a specialized visit to leading hospitals in Warsaw, Poland. The event was organized by GE HealthCare in cooperation with Protech Solutions.

The main goal of the internship was to explore cutting-edge medical technologies used in anesthesiology and intensive care. The program included visits to the Warsaw National Medical Institute of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, the Medical University of Warsaw Hospital, and the Military HealthCare Institute – National Research Institute.

Participants attended lectures by prominent Polish specialists and observed practical demonstrations of GE HealthCare equipment, including technologies for low-flow anesthesia, lung-protective ventilation, advanced patient monitoring, and calorimetry measurement. Special attention was paid to experience exchange with clinic leadership and experts in intensive care.

According to Olha Kramarieva, the internship provided invaluable experience with advanced equipment and innovative approaches to patient care. The acquired knowledge and insights are expected to significantly benefit Ukrainian medical practice.

Key implementation directions include integration of new knowledge into the educational process at the Department of Emergency Medicine, organization of seminars and trainings for medical professionals, improvement of clinical practice with state-of-the-art technologies, adaptation of European best practices to the Ukrainian healthcare context.

The internship marks an important step in strengthening international cooperation for the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine and contributes to enhancing the quality of medical education and patient care in Ukraine.
