The Department of Emergency Medicine of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine conducted a training course to develop practical skills in stopping critical bleeding according to the international Stop the Bleed protocol.

The training was conducted under the guidance of the Head of the Department, Professor Anton Volosovets, with the participation of Associate Professor Igor Verbytskyi and Associate Professor Olga Kramareva.

Postgraduate students from different departments of the university had the opportunity to personally practice basic bleeding control skills, such as tourniquet application, wound tamponade, and the use of hemostatic agents. The participants noted the high professionalism of the teachers and the practical value of the knowledge gained for both future scientists and the population of our country as a whole.

The event was another example of a practice-oriented approach to training future scientists, which is actively implemented by the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine.
