Nina G. Goida, Full Professor of the Department of Public Health Management of the Academy (2004), MD, Dr. Sc., Full Professor, Full Member of the Academy of Higher Education of Ukraine, Winner of the Science and Technology State Prize of Ukraine.

In 1973 she graduated from Chernivtsi State Medical Institute (now Bukovina Medical University). After graduating she worked her way up from resident obstetrician to the organizer of obstetric services at the district and region. 1987-1992 – Head of the Department of Public Health of Khmelnytskyi Regional Executive Committee.

1992-2003 – worked at the Ministry of Health, gradually occupying such positions as: Head of the Chief Administration of Medical Care for Children and Mothers, and the Chief Administration of Medical Care for the Population, the Deputy and First Deputy of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Since 2003 she has been Vice-Rector for Clinical Work of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. In 2000 she defended her Doctoral  thesis.

Participated in the elaboration of the medical standards and legal foundations for developing the Public Health System of Ukraine; participated in a great many international forums. Studied the health care systems and the models of their financing in a number of countries in Europe and North America.

Author of over 300 scientific works, including manuals and monographs. The supervisor of 2 MD, Drs. Sc. and 7 MD, PhDs. Member of the Expert Council of SAC of Ukraine, Member of the Committee on State Prizes in Science and Technology Section, which deals with papers of young scientists.

The expert in a number of international public health projects combined with such countries as Switzerland, Canada, Germany, United States, and international organizations: WHO, UNICEF, UNDP and others.

Area of expertize: theory and practice of social hygiene, public health management, organization of medical care for children and mothers, and the development of family medicine.

N.G. Goyda has a number of awards and awards: Order of Princess Olga II degree (2018) and III degree (2009); Cross Panteleimon Healer; Certificate of honor of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (2002); Order of St. Anne of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (2002); Medal named after academician Strazhesko M.D. Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (2001); Honorary Award of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine (2008); Honorary title "Honored Doctor of Ukraine" (1992).
