At the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology №2 in March-April 2022, multidisciplinary seminars were held in a remote format on the Zoom platform on military medical topics.

    1. "Opportunities for improving the results of treatment patients with combat injuries of the limbs", 11.04.2022-12.04.2022.
    2. "Features of the treatment combat injuries of the limbs", 27.04.2022-28.04.2022.

    The seminars discussed the possibilities of improving the results of treatment gunshot injuries of the upper and lower extremities. The issues of prevention infectious complications in gunshot fractures and the scope of surgical intervention in them were outlined. Reconstructive and restorative treatment of limb tissue defects, possible complications and measures to prevent them were discussed.

The audience was informed about the circumstances of the occurrence of thermal injury, the procedure for conducting primary treatment and the tactics of medical care for burns with white phosphorus. Particular attention was paid to the experience of treating the wounded in the city clinical hospital.

The participants of the seminar took an active part in the discussion of practical issues in the surgical treatment of patients with mine-explosive injuries of the upper and lower extremities. Discussions at the end of the seminar testified to the interest of the audience and the relevance of the topic in the light of events in Ukraine.
