This year, at  the end of November , an international congress of modern technologies in treatment and diagnosis patients with diabetes (Diabetes Technology Congress) was held in virtual format. Using new technologies, such as continuous glucose monitoring, pump insulin therapy and other methods, open up new possibilities for achieving and maintaining disease compensation in patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes.

This year, the head of the Department of Diabetology of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Corresponding Member of the NAMS of Ukraine Professor B.N. Mankovsky, was moderated the meeting and coordinated the Q&A session together with a colleague from the USA.

The new information , which was presented at the congress will be implemented in the clinical and educational activities of the Department of Diabetology.
