From September 17 to 20, 2025, the XXVII All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Topical Issues of Pediatrics" - Sidelnykovsky Readings was held in Yaremche.
The conference was held in a face-to-face format with simultaneous online broadcast, which allowed to bring together specialists from different parts of Ukraine to discuss topical issues of pediatrics: providing medical care to children in wartime, modern infectious challenges, problems of children's mental health, implementation of medical care standards, preventive strategies, combating antibiotic resistance, and other important areas.
The Department of Emergency Medicine of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine was represented at the conference by the Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine, A.O. Volosovets, who presented a number of reports on topics related to emergency medicine in pediatric practice, and also joined the discussions of practical cases, exchange of experience and implementation of clinical standards. This contributed to the deepening of scientific cooperation and integration of the Department into the all-Ukrainian context of pediatric science and practice.
Participation in such forums is an important component of the Shupyk National Healthcare University's activities, as it allows to improve the level of professional training of teachers and students, promote the development of interuniversity and interdisciplinary cooperation, familiarize with advanced methods and standards of medical care for children and strengthen the university's contribution to improving the health care of children in difficult conditions.
